Mission Statement

Working together as a family, following in the footsteps of Jesus, always giving our best.”

Vision (Curriculum for Wales)

Our vision is based on Gospel Values with Christ at its Centre.

As a Catholic Family the wellbeing of all learners is at the heart of our curriculum. Our learners will grow to be truly human, working for the common good of all.

We aim to inspire a love of learning, catering for all needs, to help all achieve their full potential.

Holy Family is committed to develop learners’ English and Welsh Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Competence skills through a meaningful broad and balanced curriculum to enhance their life chances.

Learning Vision

The aim of our learning vision is to:

  • Nurture a passionate, innovative school community supporting all to achieve to their best, valuing the uniqueness of each individual.
  • Promote strong meaningful links between school, home, parish and the wider community.
  • Equip pupils to be life-long learners, with the skills, resilience and confidence to face an ever-changing world.

Curriculum Vision

Faith and Wellbeing are at the heart of our curriculum, encompassing Welsh Culture and Contemporary Values.

We aim to develop:

  • A faith filled and hopeful community
  • Healthy active, happy and confident individuals
  • Ethical and informed citizens
  • Ambitious and capable learners
  • Enterprising and collaborative contributors
  • Enthusiastic and independent learners
  • Confident leaders of learning who are involved in creating their own experiences

Able to independently self-assess and able to move their own learning forward. Since we can’t know what knowledge will be most needed in the future, it is senseless to try to teach it in advance.  Instead we should try to turn out people who love learning so much and learn so well that they will be able to learn whatever needs to be learned.
